Celebration of Life Virtual Fundraising Event
May 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Chester County Women’s Services wants to redefine what it means to be pro-life. We want to remove the stigma that we are only pro-birth, but really live out being pro-life. That is why we say we [Love Them Both]. Both mom and baby. We believe that every life has intrinsic value. It is our goal in 2022 to reach more abortion-vulnerable individuals with help and hope through our education, resources, and support. We are taking bold, intentional steps to go where she is and connect with her in a meaningful way. Over the past year, we have been working behind the scenes on a rebranding project to better carry out our mission of empowering individuals and their families to make life-affirming decisions. On Monday, May 2nd, 2022, we will reveal our new name and logo to YOU!
Though our name will change, our mission will remain the same: to empower individuals and their families with education, resources, and support to make life-affirming decisions
We support individuals physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially through free pregnancy care, parenting education, peer counseling, material assistance, a homeless prevention program, and community referrals. But we need you! Our goal for this event is to raise $193,000 to become a LIFELINE to her and her baby.
Just last year, CCWS served over 4,100 appointments throughout Chester County. The no-cost medical services include pregnancy tests, limited-ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins, proof of pregnancy, and free nurse consultations throughout the course of the pregnancy. Educational support included abortion facts and alternatives, sexual integrity information, adoption guidance, post-abortion healing, anger management, stop smoking support, homeless prevention support, Bible studies, parenting support up through the teenage years, and discipline support. CCWS also assists with community referrals and client-earned material assistance.
Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers and support from donors over the past 36 years, all CCWS services continue to be offered free of charge and offered in both English and Spanish. Our offices are located in Coatesville, Kennett Square, and West Chester. CCWS is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that is 90% volunteer-based and receives no government funding.
