More than a Pregnancy Center
As a new member of the Chester County Women Services Board, one of the things that was so appealing to me about being a part of this organization was the emphasis on education. I have been an elementary school teacher for the past ten years, and I have seen firsthand the power that knowledge holds for my students. When I learned that Chester County Women Services went so far beyond what in my mind was the typical “duties” of a pregnancy center, I got excited to partner alongside of them.
Chester County Women Services not only provides help for women throughout their pregnancy, but they continue to help and support the family after the baby is born as well. By providing opportunities for parenting classes, moms can gain opportunities to truly provide what is best for their new family and gain knowledge that empowers them to do so. I am thankful to partner alongside an organization that sees education as a way to strengthen families and empower parents to be the best parents they can be. Thank you Chester County Women Services for providing these opportunities to our communities!
